By taking part in underground fight leagues, GL established himself in the hip-hop scene in the Visayas. After that, he participated in the 2018 Process of Illumination competition in Cebu and emerged victorious. He played his first game against Pen Pluma at Gubat 8. The audience and emcees praised his amazing performance even though he lost the fight. GL has gained more admirers and victories since his debut. In addition to his large vocabulary, he soon gained recognition for his clever, well-thought-out viewpoints, such as the now-famous "train of thought" plans. He entered the Isabuhay Tournament in 2024 and easily advanced to the finals, where he met Vitrum, thanks to his game-changing performances. GL was heralded as the winner following an extremely close battle.
The Leyte representative continues to be a hip-hop enthusiast outside of combat rap. His eagerly anticipated solo EP "SA/LIRIKO" was released in 2022. You may watch the entire thing on his YouTube account. There are five tracks in all, with A.D. beats managing the production.
